I painted this small sketch of an A4 sheet size during one dive in the Maldives. Several anemones lived near the shore, and I liked to make them the plot of my paintings. Naturally, clownfish also got used to becoming my models, of course, they did. But this time I decided to devote a separate sketch to them.
The sea anemone is not a flower, but a primitive animal that feeds on fish. Its tentacles are burning, but the clownfish are “covered”, for them, it is the thicket of the garden of Eden and their home. They even got their cartoon name Nemo from the shortened anemone fish, meaning the fish that lives in the anemone. By this time, they had already posed for my “Gossips”“Gossips” sketch, so I decided to create something more positive – their “Cute talks”.
